What Deskworth is for

A research desk for one person, built so that every figure keeps its trail and no agent can quietly widen its reach.

Deskworth is a desktop application that turns the model subscriptions you already pay for into a research desk with named mandates. It is local-first, it holds no key of yours, and it does not resell you a model.

#The three commitments

#Why named roles rather than one assistant

Not because a specialist model is smarter, but because a mandate is a written limit and a limit is what makes a wrong answer visible. A role that may read filings and may not reach the open web cannot substitute a blog post for a 10-K. A role that owns the workbook format is the only one that can produce one.

LimitThere is no team page here, no customer list and no adoption figure — there is nothing to show, and inventing any of it would contradict everything above.
